Short film in which Louis Malle has an amused and sweet look at the Tour de France, filming the lasts of the race. Far of the image of mechanical sportsmen, Louis Malle gives the Tour de France a human appearance and Jean Bobet gives his voice for it.

In 1971, eight American militants were accused of "conspiracy in order to provoke a riot" and judged during the "Chicago Eight" trial. Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin propose a burlesque remake of this trial : a judge, named Ernest Adolf Himmler, draws on Playboy playmates instead of hearing the testimonies. A surprising mixing of political cinema and mockery which caricatures the "bourgeoise" justice.

The Journey through French Cinema that Bertrand Tavernier offered us in theaters (released in October 2016) turned out to be too short for him to introduce all the directors and all the movies from 1930 to 1970 that he wanted to share with us. Therefore, he proposed a new TV show in which he will take us to meet René Clément, Henri-Georges Clouzot, Julien Duvivier, Henri Decoin, women directors, Claude Autant-Lara, as well as composers who made french films' music an art by itself, far from Hollywood' spotlight.
